Wooters.us is a tracker for the popular deal-a-day site, Woot. If you're new to Woot in general, check out our How to Woot page. If you're already a Woot vet, you have probably heard of Woot trackers before. These little beauties automatically refresh the Woot home page for you, and will notify you if something you're interested in comes up, so you don't have to sit at the Woot page all day long.
Wooters.us is one of these trackers—well, not just another tracker. We have created technology that is consistently faster than the competition by several seconds or more! This might not sound like much, but remember the last time you missed a Random Crap because Woot's servers were running slow? During a Woot Off, every seconds counts.
Wooters.us also features a Random Crap auto-buyer. With this feature, Wooters.us will automatically click the “Buy” button for you, opening the Woot checkout window in a new window. You put in your credit card security code and click the gold button, and you've got your Random Crap. Well, it's easier said than done, but Wooters.us gives you the extra advantage.
Wooters.us is the lovechild of two hackers, BAF and CGamesPlay. We have one simple goal: to be the best tracker on the ’net. We have big plans for Wooters.us, and so far we feel it's shaping up nicely. Here are some of the features that Wooters.us already has:
- One tracker for each of Woot's sites.
- A chat room with a tracker glued to it, so you can chat with other anxious Wooters.
- Live updates: other trackers make your browser go and ask the server if woot has changed. Our server sends the updates to your browser, so our site updates immediately.
- Sounds for when a new item comes up or sells out, and special sounds for when a Woot Off starts and when a Random Crap comes up.
- Random Crap auto-buy gives you a few crucial seconds when a bag of crap comes up.
- Developers who listen: BAF and CGamesPlay would love to hear your thoughts and ideas for wooters.us. Hit us up using the Give Suggestion form!
And here's a list of the things we're planning to add coming up soon:
- A downloadable tracker: you will be able to let this program run on your computer, without leaving wooters.us open in your browser. This is one of the biggest plans we've got, so it deserves some highlighting:
- Just as fast as wooters.us.
- Customizable alerts: including sounds, popups, and even auto-buying.
- Mobile trackers: Wooters.us for the Android, iPhone, and Windows Mobile. Featuring:
- Rate-conscious: the mobile tracker uses minimal bandwidth to keep your battery alive longer, and if you pay by the kB, your bill lower.
- Customizable alerts: if you really want to hear about every Roomba that Woot has to offer, you can do that.
- And of course, just as fast as wooters.us.
- Email/SMS notifications based on conditions you set, such as "email me about random craps", or "text me about R/C helicopters".
- Other deal-a-day sites: eventually, we want to expand to other deal-a-day sites, to bring information to you, the consumer, the fastest. If you have sites in mind, let us know!

Random Crap auto-buy
Disclaimer: The random crap autobuy doesn't actually buy the crap for you, because that's cheating! You need to be at your computer when the crap comes up (but don't worry, there is a special sound). Here's how it works:
- When the Woot Off starts, you make sure that you are logged into Woot and have checked "Remember Me".
- You hear the special random crap sound and your browser opens to the Woot checkout page.
- You put in your PayPal information, or your credit card authorization number.
- You click the gold button at the bottom of the page.
- You make sure everything on the order confirmation page is correct.
- You click the large gold button.
Now, Woot likes to shake things up so sometimes you will have to read the product description on the Random Crap to find a special Buy link or a coupon code. The auto-buy only works with normal craps!
